In this educational activity, expert faculty explore a series of clinical cases to address the role in screening for T1D, how to utilize immunotherapies to delay the onset of T1D, and how to manage and monitor patients on T1D immunotherapies. The goal of this education is to increase the learner's knowledge of how immunologic treatment approaches are being applied to T1D, increase their ability to discuss these advances with clinical colleagues, patients, and families/caregivers, and to utilize current therapies to delay the onset of clinical T1D.
