TARGET AUDIENCE/PROGRAM OVERVIEW

TARGET AUDIENCE
This educational activity is intended for members of the hematology care team, including physicians, NPs, and PAs.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
As new therapies expand the possibilities for managing immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), treatment decisions are becoming increasingly complex. Beyond platelet counts and clinical response, what should guide treatment choices, and how can emerging approaches better reflect patients’ priorities, daily experiences, and long-term goals? In this discussion, a patient and their clinician will share their perspectives on the evolving approach to ITP management, the needs that remain unmet, and opportunities to improve care as new treatment options become available.
