About PROTECT™ (SupPorting ApROpriate ImmunizaTions Across the AgE SpeCTrum)
The prevalence of preventable diseases has created a significant need for continuing education among health care professionals across therapeutic areas. This initiative will provide information on the importance of life-protecting vaccinations, which begin soon after birth and continue throughout life; help health care professionals remain current on the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices' recommendations; discuss evolving vaccine schedules; clarify misinformation on immunization risks; and improve communication and effectively address missed opportunities for immunization discussions with parents and patients. Uniquely designed to support awareness of the vaccines available and to educate health care professionals on appropriate recommendations, PROTECT™ represents a critical unmet need and opportunity to ensure each individual and their respective communities are protected from preventable diseases.

This educational activity is designed for family physicians, internal medicine physicians, nurse practitioners, osteopathic physicians, obstetricians/gynecologists, pediatricians, physician assistants, pharmacists, and other health care professionals involved with preventing disease through immunizations.
