Welcome

Thank you for agreeing to serve as Expert Presenter for the CME activity entitled Addressing the Barriers of Effective Pain Management and Issues of Opioid Abuse in the Acute and Chronic Setting.

The France Foundation, an ACCME-accredited continuing medical education company, has identified through a thorough needs assessment that there is a strong need for further education on risk management, guidelines, and pain management assessment, as well as novel abuse-deterrent technologies that may help mitigate some risk potential for abuse of opioid medications.

Renowned pain expert Dr. Lynn Webster has developed this tutorial to guide you through the slide presentation. This Pain Management Virtual Mentorship Training Program will take approximately 90 minutes to complete. The goal of the Virtual Mentorship Training Program is to:

  • Familiarize you with the content to be presented during the Grand Rounds and ensure adequate knowledge of the educational learning objectives prior to your Grand Rounds presentation
  • Successfully complete the activity posttest to receive CME credit (1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™).
