This activity has been planned in accordance with the need to provide nephrologists with education in secondary hyperparathyroidism.
Educational Activity Objectives
Upon completion of this course, the participants should be able to:
- Evaluate when to use Ca-based phosphate binders and sevelamer
- Recognize the different vitamin D analogs and their appropriate utilization
- Discuss the appropriate utilization of cinacalcet including cotherapy with vitamin D

The target audience for this activity is nephrologists.
